Kenya Tourist Board Opens Japan Office in Move to Receive 12,000 Japanese Visitors
Kenya Tourist Board has opened its Japan Office estrusting the operation to Aviareps Marketing Garden Ltd. The new office succeeds and takes charge of the marketing and promotional activies for Japanese market that Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Japan has hitherto undertaken. The firm is expected to host trade seminars for travel industry, carry on web promotion, and collaborate with the press for media coverage to generate travel demand to Kenya. Japanese travelers who visited the country during the fiscal year 2009 are estimated at approximately 10,000, and the Tourist Board is eager to increase the number to 12,000 this year.
