The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JAMA, Chairman: Satoshi Aoki) is pleased to announce the outline of the 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009 scheduled to be held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba City for a 13-day period from Friday, October 23 to Wednesday, November 4 (public viewing begins Saturday, October 24).

The theme for the 41st Tokyo Motor Show 2009, “Fun Driving for Us, Eco Driving for Earth,” is a simple expression of the “Fun & Eco” concept. By serving as one of the world’s primary sources of information about the latest state-of-the-art technologies and products, as well as a venue for special events, the show will seek to instill greater appreciation for automobiles and motorcycles among the general public.
Exhibits are planned by 2 governments, 1 organization and 107 companies from 10 countries and 1 region. The show is scheduled to see 42 World Premieres (22 passenger cars, 18 motorcycles, 2 Carrozzeria) and 17 Japan Premieres (10 passenger cars, 7 motorcycles). The venue will consist of the West, Center and East halls (54,000 sq m) of Makuhari Messe, with total exhibition space of 21,337 sqm.
