Katakai Fireworks Festival, Niigata
The Katakai Fireworks Festival(片貝花火まつり) is part of the Katakai Festival organised by Ochiya City in Niigata celebrating the arrival of Autumn.
It is the biggest fireworks (with a stunning 800m in radius) in the world, according to the Guinness Book of Records.
The event is held on September 9th and 10th each year.
